24 hour emergency plumber in East Haven, CT

East Haven's shoreline side gets hit hardest in storms. Pumps quit, basements take water and floor drains back up.

Up toward Foxon, the emergencies look more like burst pipes and dead water heaters. Either way, call 203-654-9405.

What East Haven emergency calls look like

Coastal storm flooding near Momauguin, sewer backups during heavy rain, and frozen pipes in capes and ranches that still run their original supply lines.

Shoreline homes deal with high groundwater and storms, so sump pumps and basement drains work hard here. Plenty of older capes and ranches also still run original supply pipe and water heaters that are due.

What to do right now

• Shut the main water valve if anything is leaking.
• Move valuables up off the basement floor.
• Check the sump pump plug and breaker.
• Stop running water if drains back up.
• Call 203-654-9405 and tell us if water is coming in.

What it costs

After-hours, weekend and holiday calls usually cost more than a weekday visit. We give you the full price, including any emergency or trip fee, before work starts.
